The Great Space Elevator

Towers of Tomorrow and a Ride to Space

Ages 4–8 26 coloring pictures Coming soon

Join Sophia, Jacob and their robot helpers on an imagined journey — from an ocean terminal near the equator, up a slender ribbon through the clouds, all the way to a busy harbor in orbit. Along the way the story wonders why anyone would build such a thing, how it might stay up, and what daily life could be like far above the blue planet.

It's a book about big ideas and careful questions. The science is real where it can be — geostationary orbit, solar power, recycling water, growing food in space — but the giant space elevator itself is a friendly what-if, not something that exists today. Nothing in the book promises it's already possible; it invites young readers to imagine, test and improve.

Like the rest of the series, each spread pairs a short, optional caption to read aloud with a big picture to color. Crayons and colored pencils suit the artwork well.
